After the Rain
Gray skies shed its dark menace
In crystal droplets, rain fell
Refreshing, life sustaining
Now the sun shines and all’s well
How can I go back to sleep?
When the day’s a carousel
The cool breeze and the blue skies
Nature has no parallel
Barefoot I’ll go to the beach
To the dark storm, bid farewell
Breathe fresh air, bask in the sun
And soak in the ocean swell
