My Queen I
I stand before you today
Offering to be your knight;
The guardian,
The protector of your love...
So concrete are my feelings,
My affection;
Confident, firm,
Never shaken
Even when questioned.
For love is unapologetic.
Love is rash, and impulsive
For it is not found in the brain—
But in the heart.
Love is blinding,
Therefore I can not see your flaws.
Love has no odor,
But I can smell it in the air.
Love has no hands,
Yet, like the wind,
I can still feel it...
I can feel it all over.
Your intelligence,
Your beauty is so bright,
So radiant that if the sun died out
You’d be its replacement.
But we need not worry
For you are the sun–
My everlasting Sun.
And I your Knight-
Your Moon.
Making our love that of an Eclipse:
Rare, but inevitable–
Written in the stars.
Decided by fate.
Still,
Unlike the moon at the end of the eclipse,
I shall never abandon you.
Nor shall I give up on you–
On us.
Thus, I submit to you, every bit of my eternal love...
