Behind your graces
I see a thousand faces
Of who you used to be
As I stand and fall
Like a crashing wall
I no longer feel so tall
Resorting to a deeper conscious
I now feel so very small
My thoughts towards you
Might be a bit on the edge
I feel depressed
Because I am blocked off
By your towering hedge
And nothing hurts me more
Than knowing you are breathing today
Upset and confused
I have no more to lose
For you have disappeared
And nothing more
Has hurt before
Than knowing you were once here
My heart is numb
Sprinkled like crumbs
I crash upon the ground
Because nothing hurts me more
Than knowing you use to be around
When I needed a father
It was you I could not bother
Because you seemed to be gone
But nothing hurts more than knowing you were wrong
I am at battle
In which I sit upon my saddle
And run with my broken horse
But I hope you feel all but nothing
Nothing but
Remorse
