Too Hot
Gosh! has it ever really been this hot,
as I think back, I really think not.
Heatwave number 1,2,3,4,5
All I can say is it’s good to be alive.
Don’t want to go out cause it’s too hot,
gotta muster up all the strength I’ve got.
Does anybody think so I sure do,
Heatwave go away I’m tired of you.
Never really been a fan of hot weather,
but I manage to keep myself together.
I just smile when I think about it all,
but boy! I’ll sure be glad to see the Fall.
