They knew each other from a very young age,
very close friends from early childhood.
Life for these two was page after page,
playing together whenever they could.
Well as they grew older it was quite obvious,
their friendship was really quite real.
As others looked on they just couldn’t miss,
that they cared for each other a great deal.
The two were intertwined from the very start,
destined to be together always.
Not even thinking one day they would part,
never giving thought in those days.
Well as they grew older he didn’t want to yield,
thinking he needed to be free.
Thinking a young man should play the field,
being with whoever he wanted to be.
He tried for sometime to find someone,
but no satisfaction could he find.
Then he realized one day what he had done,
he had left his true love behind.
Then one day after returning home,
he went twards her without delay.
After not seeing her for so very long,
there was nothing else for him to say.
He went straight to her and said,
Love I’m so crazy about you.
And after being away I realize,
that what we always had was true.
She replied to him, Oh I’m so glad you’re home,
I missed you so very much my dear.
I never really realized what we had myself,
but all the while you were standing right here.
He said I tried, but I realized you’re the one,
can we start over because I was wrong?
Now it seemed his happiness had just begun,
for he had come back to where he belonged.
Maria and Enrique intertwined once again,
So happy to be back together.
Knowing now that their love would never end,
but go on and on forever and ever.
True love. The End
