Majestic and unique;
Special and pure;
Abstract and distinct;
The Unicorn with its lure.
The Unicorn is hunted;
He is chased;
He is tracked:
He is ostracized:
He is attacked.
The Unicorn is muted;
He is ‘blind’ from predators;
He is ‘deaf’ from hunters;
He is confined.
The hunters;
The predators;
The commonfolk;
Trap the Unicorn in Their cage;
The Unicorn full with rage.
Bucking and kicking;
Screaming muted screams;
Blinded and deafened by Them.
The Unicorn dreams.
