Sunset collapsed upon my bed.
He whispers in my ear about the Two Lovers
That were painted in this room.
I kissed his lips and firmly held onto the light
Shining into my bathroom.
Go on, he says.
Then he lights my cigarette only with
A touch of his fingertip and settles into the waters.
He watches me as I observe the waves crashing
Against his chest.
Sunset smiles ever so
Calmly.
A storm settled in my tub and he watched
As ships sunk and
Blood filtered the waters
I felt a sharp pain in my leg
But he said that it was just the ship
Hitting the bottom of
The Sea.
I made love to him.
Lightening clinched onto my skin
Voices told me no.
But I had loved the fire in my stomach
He caused whenever he came near enough
To burn the corners of my
Lips.
The Sun set and Luna took his place in my tub.
She smiled ever so
Calmly.
I was all alone.
