Life is not fair at times...
But of course things
Change quickly down the line,
We are born into a
No guarantee world.
It’s a gamble...
Whether we live to
Be old, or we
Die too soon.
Life’s a blessing...
If we learn early
To bend with the
Wind, whether it is
Calm or howling.
It’s a miracle...
To have an open heart,
Our life, a bright
Guide, our minds
A balm of kindness.

10meJust beautiful, you really have a way with words. I just did lose my best friend to cancer. He was two weeks out from surgery where the Doctors were successful in removing the bone where the cancer was located in his jaw. He went to sleep and never woke up two weeks and two days after the surgery... We just don't know what tomorrow will bring and why it's so important for me to treat each and every day like it is my last.

10me@Mark Sallee: Thank you Mark. So sorry for the loss of your friend, may he rest in peace. I keep reminding myself to live each day as if it is my last because like you say, we do not know what tomorrow will bring.
