As I lay hear and wait
The apple is staring at me
I want to take a bite
If I do I will sleep
I have no prince
This is the real world
There is no fairy tales
So I would sleep forever
Till I die but if there is a prince
That would be charming
As I lay here and wait
While the apple mocks me
Thinking about what all I did
Who all I know and love
I throw the apple in the trash
Hoping it will rot
With the poison inside
There is no true fairy tales
No happy endings just
Life as we know it
