When you’re on the edge of the cliff there’s nothing else to do but admire the water that is underneath.
You can see how brutally the waves of the ocean crash into the shore, slowly but eventually deteriorating the rocks.
Those rocks have been on the planet for millions of years before humans even existed, but nature is more powerful.
No matter how strong something might seem to be, it can’t always be in control of what happens to it.
Just like the civilizations that built the greatest empires and disappear in a blink of an eye, just letting evidence.
Evidence, those magnificent constructions, castles, and pyramids, to remind us we are nothing but a second on earth.
Humanity claims to be in control of what happens on this planet, but that’s the biggest lie I’ve ever heard.
If that was true, we could control the way our brain functions, there wouldn’t be people suffering.
So, as in those strong civilizations, even the most resilient person can break down, because we are not in charge.
