Writer's Block
You know I wish I was like the rest
Sit down with my pen and write words that pay bills like the best
Cause I love music with all my heart
It’s what I want to do till from this world I part
But I almost never get a thought in my brain
That equals more than a paragraph on a page
Like right now I struggle to write more
Trying so hard to find what I look for
I’m trying to think but nothing will come
So I try speaking but the words won’t run
It seems my pen’s stuck between a hard place and a rock
And I just can’t push past this Writer’s Block
