I am the Sun
The pursuit of light is a pilgrimage of faith.
A resolute march towards gilded horizons where warmth and lucidity reign.
To follow the sun is to chase constancy.
To linger for brilliance unbroken.
Yet, even the sun is not endless.
Endurance is learned in darkness,
—a yielding to time’s rhythm.
Where light and dark braid together sculpting the contours of our days.
The sun, though sacred,
cannot sustain.
In this ebb, meaning is found.
An unwavering belief in the constant inevitable twin of this life.
In shadow we entwine in this cynical dance.
Shaping the very fabric of our days in the balance.
