I want more than to just lay my head on your shoulder.
I want to be wrapped around you like a vine, lending heat from your body. So connected that I forget my roots.
Skin to skin, togetherness that we find it difficult to remember where I start and where you end. To lay my head gently on your chest as you inhale my essence and I exhale all the tension & knots in my body.
To listen to the drum that is your heart and bask in that silence as I wonder if those two hearts would beat in harmony, stacatto hand in hand creating a melody.
I would just like to lay serenely next to you, facing you, gazing at your soul, holding my breath in the hopes that every existing matter will just

so that I can capture this moment.
As the sun begins to rise and another day begins,
I would pray that all my days would be filled with nights & mornings like this or atleast similar......
Because this moment would be something I’d never want to lose......
But let’s start with just sleeping on your shoulder and maybe,
God willing,
We’ll get there.
