Can you listen?
I’m not a Poet
but I have things to say
my words might not make sence
I might speak a different language
I might not from here
but I have a message
can you hear it without worried about my accent?
why can’t you ignore it?
is it that annoying?
but i have a message to share with you
can you stop judging just for a minute?
I’m not a poet and English is my second language
what i have to say it’s important
I had a dream
where I would stand and speak
people will forget if I had a accent but listen
I need you to listen
I can’t tell you if you don’t listen
