Remembered
I have loved
you ere now,
my soul feels
the truth of it.
I have beheld this hearts
most cherished state,
as restraint was then unheard,
and loss had never this soul touched.
Then time did separate
the one
for spirit must
in living delve,
through lesson learned
in darkest passage,
til light once more
esteem did hold.
Tis in this proving
that spirit grew
to manifest
in self reborn.
Now re-entwined
we two recall,
and rise to joy
in wholeness made.
