BOROGO (THE BRIDGE)

As he walks, alone, wondering
Not knowing where
Approaching a fine strong frame
So new, Standing alone
Waiting for someone to cross.
Waiting to share the knowledge
With someone.
As he approaches and touches
The strong fine frame, he knows
He’s no longer alone.
As he walks on, he knows the knowledge
That is held there.
And his mind takes flight,
And he sees the world, And the home
Of his Ancestors, And his tears fall
For he has come to a place where
Knowledge and Strength are one.
For he has crossed
BOROGO.
