AWAY

As she sits here all alone,
Thinking of you coming home

She wishes the door would open wide.
And you would just step inside

She has not faced that dreadful
Day
When she was told you’d gone
Away

If she could turn the world around,
Then she could say that you were
Found

She knows that, that will never be.
But dreaming keeps her sanity

Her love for you will never die,
For in her heart you’ll stay alive.

As she says, He’s just away.
