The Proud Violet
My journey through cold
Darkened matter hastened me
To rise and find the sun,
That radiant paradise,
That warm hand that
Stretches through eternity,
Born from ancient visions and
Kept alive through its
Perennial plan
My simple, familiar body
Brags about how I
Can soften hearts and
Adorn empty spaces
My evolving, complex network
Explains how Mother Nature
Is a silent genius that can
Rejuvenate itself as it
Passes through time
Even though I am little
I am an offspring of
Nature’s perpetual stability

9ySigh... Wow... Such a simple thing and you made and described it in a way that was just fascinating to me ..... It almost seems like a metaphor unknown to Me ...but maybe not ... Anyways Robert frost may describe an object of nature beautifully you know It's design and physical look and you did that and also described it's psychology.. Erm ..if that makes any sense .. I'm not the best at putting into words exactly what Mean sometimes...But eh .. ..I've been on a long hiatus from this site .. My internet is now back and I'm glad to be reading all of the poems I've missed..But I just love this little poem the simplicity and depth call to my ever intense love of duality..

9yDang it pushed send before finished .. It's a long enough comment as it is .. Can't help myself my poems always so long also... But my Last thought was just the duality of the simple flower and the intricate design of nature .. A small part of the huge design ... Fascinating
