Peeking into the Summer

As winter’s snows have come and gone,
The stage is set for what lies beyond,
A gradual warming for the month of May
Until the heat of summer comes to stay.
But until then, cool nights are still around
And the tidings of warmer days so abound.

We peek into summer with our eager eyes
As the residue of winter slowly dies.
The trees are dressed in summer’s attire,
Just what the days in the forests require.
As we look at nature’s changing ways,
We see her evolving as we stand amazed.
Mother Nature, you are so beautiful.
