Oh rousing music, how thou hast taken me
To your quiet brooks and your stormy sea,
Riding on your wings through open spaces,
Arriving at the dawning of brand new places.
When boredom reaches the heart of my spine,
Is when the softness finds no where to climb.
When music pleads for a brand new awakening,
It needs to be moved by a thunderous transcending.
As the spirit crawls in my soul for its sleeping,
It stays in the calm as boredom keeps repeating,
“Calm is too peaceful is too peaceful is too peaceful.
Go out and ride with the tempest skies so beautiful.”
Toward the unknown, leaping into seething fires,
Up to the thrill where the spirit never tires,
Riding on the wings of emotional swells,
I arrived at the sounding of the waking bells.
‘Tis dynamic wanderings that moved my spirit,
As it cried out to me where I could hear it.
It crawled along my spine with its poetic fingers
Then left me enchanted as the music lingers.
Then it moved to new places as the spirit demands.
“Tis the music creed that is written in the sands.
Dynamics is the salt that flavors the music.
Going to new levels is what makes it tick.”
Music my love, my variational love.
Music my love, my effervescent love.
