Domestic Wars

Children who survived the domestic wars are the victors. The parents are the perennial losers who keep on fighting until they die. The children saw the disintegration of the familial bond that they were part of as they broke away from the mold that their parents made for them. They kept saying to themselves that they are better than that. Even though it was hard to find a better life and break away from the old, they did it. They have a mind to think for themselves no matter what the parents say.
They are the rebels of a generational  legacy that was handed down to them. They lived and set a new mold for future generations. Thank God they did it. They deserve all the praise for what they did. They are the true victors of the domestic wars.
