When I was little I lied a lot.
I don’t know why I thought it didn’t matter
As long as I knew what I did.
But soon thinking up a lie was getting too complicated.
And no one wanted to trust me
They always thought I was lying even when I wasn’t.
They were my family and friends.
But I always had someone by my side
But they weren’t always there.
They’re not around when I want to play or laugh.
My parents say there’s nothing there.
But, those scary skeletons will always haunt me
Like a predator that attacks its own, forever.
