Tall trees and rock terrain
A leisure walk on a cool sunny day
Radiant sky over bluish garden
Glimmering water of a quiet lake
Along the summer fields nearly golden
Along wind caressed wheat meadow so grand
Down the canyon into rocky river
Out into plain tract of wide steppe grassland
West wind swept gently a light cool zephyr
Sweet songs of life air glide a lullaby
Birds whispering calls of desire longing
Yellow and white butterflies flitting by
Stoically grasshoppers stilly sitting
Sun rays zigzagging through lush canopy
Light the somber crevices of my mind
Reach deep into my soul comforting me
Bring back memories of a boyhood time
Wild naïveté of youth’s emotion
A spirit sublime with life force passion
Through the dim cavern halls of the mountains
Deep woodland of tall trees and rock
terrain
