at the beach
summer heat solitude
at the beach
in a trance
i dwell
on the white beach
wrap around by
the cerulean sea
under the azure sky
a cool gentle breeze
on my face
at peace with myself
waiting
for the horizon
to explode
in a riot of warm colors
as the sun flashes
and sinks into
twilight
unto
dusk
deeper
into
apothic
darkness
when the cool moon
would be offering me
nocturnal cloud pillows
a peaceful night
and soft breaths of
Mother Nature
whispers of
purple moonbeams
a cool gentle light
on my face
to welcome
at dawn
a sun blossoming
radiant anew
from the bosom of
goddess Nyx
a fresh morning
bursting with splendor
crisp invigorating
a promise of a glorious
time ahead
i smile
at peace
a new day
i repeat
