Video: Alina Bercu performs Beethoven’s Piano Concerto No. 5 in E Flat Major op 73. Uplifting sheltered in this covid times.
Keeping the wheels of life going with some comfort the goat horn of services-unsung heroes sacrificing their own comfort. Bless their souls. We thank you. We love you We will remember with gratitude.
Hi. Nelson, my friend,
wrote a tanka, it's a win.
five seven five plus
seven and seven again
a great poem, a friend, to send.
Ain't we got fun?
Thank you.
Yes we do. Always. Glad you like the 575-7-7 or the 31. And I like your tanka reply. Absolutely fun!
Mine, I broke the
first and the third lines to two each for style and left the second line a single line as usual.
I wrote another version of this a few days ago titled
“Thrive” also covid related. This one is not a tanka but a double haiku. You can see the tercet haiku became a 5-line stanza. It has its own beauty visually, all it is I want to see. More so pleasing when you have two haikus one on top of the other as you can see. Of course nothing should take away from the thought of the haiku or tanka should achieve: brevity/ succinctness.
Thanks again Kurt for visiting.
Thank you Amelia for visiting and liking. Always good to see you here in my cozy cave with my literary cave mates. Not sure if any of them are Neanderthals.
Love you too.
