Solitary Mind

When I Rest

For the day is done,
Lost, the moon rose,
It is finished and gone,
In what should I propose?
That you should think of me,
The spark that was given to you,
In seeing you never thought what would be,
Suppose that spark, flew?
Quiet as the time itself,
The rest I seek, long overdue.
My thoughts remain, within myself,
For it is that spark, that was allowed, withdrew.
