Fire kisses my cheeks
As the red boils
Raging like a river
Pouring through my veins.
I open my eyes to your silhouette
A haze of red and black
My bones beginning to rattle
My muscles in a quake.
The sounds of your body crunching
Like a soothing child’s voice
Telling a story of my anger
Shouts of pain filling the air.
I grin at your crumpled shape
Satisfied by your cry
Slowly I’ll step down to you
And finish what I’ve begun.
