Waitin’ for the Day!

A pure elegy

At times, when I wasn’t morale and reluctant,
There was someone who told me to be resurgent!
He knows my ability,
And helps me find tranquility!
I was his protégé.
He always tells me to have courage!
I remember the days we did our cram,
And nights he slept like a baby in a a pram!
But now I’m in dismay,
We wouldn’t be able to enjoy the months of April and May!

I also remember the times I’ll urge,
And now he has given me a scourge!
At times when I’m feeling bereft,
Some people come to lift!
They say to stifle crying,
And I’m trying!
But the only thing that I reap,
Is the proliferation of his thoughts,
That gather around as a heap!
I’m losing myself every second, a bit.
Not knowing how to erase the ambit,
Between the two worlds!

My life is a race,
Which is now going on a stringent pace,
And I don’t know how I’m going to face!
The Lord has him confiscated,
And keeps us separated!
I’m still searching for ways,
To get rid of these havoc days!
And reach his lap,
To have an eternal nap!
And I’ll never again be sad,
Spending all my times with my dad!

An elegy of a girl who is desperate 'bout the loss of her father and waits for a day hoping he'd save her from the misery she has to undergo in this dark world!!
