Giving up Poetry for God (D)
What Fate has brought me
I cannot say
For it is too grand a scheme
My life in the mix
Of all this
Is too much a thing to fix
I must trust in God
From now on
In order for my heart to Pod
My ryhmes never make sense
So it seems
And so I think I’ll give it a rinse
I’ll quit this Stupid Thing
Waste of time!
And for once, give the big man a ring.

Ironically enough, this was the first poem I wrote after my divorce. I found that writing poetry was a great way to express my inner most feelings and hardships. If you find yourself interested in my works that came after my separation, simply look for (D) after the title.
