If I were a blue bird
I would soar high above this green Earth
If I were pink shrimp
I would scurry on the ground of the blue ocean
If I were a tall tree
Firmly I would stand with my brown roots holding me down
If I were a grey dolphin
Softly I would glide through the ocean as protector of the innocent
If I were a blackberry bush
I would layout my fruit for men and bears alike
If I were a brown seal
I would bark at the people wading in the water
Since I am Adam’s son I can be neither one
I can watch over Eve’s daughter
I can treasure her and bathe her with gifts of love
