My love, my sweetheart, my true friend
Every day my partner in crime
She laughs at my jokes all the time
And fattens my heart to no end
She talks to plants like they’re her crew
Declares them friends, not just décor
She feeds them more than me, I’m sure—
And swears they always answer too
Her quirks, though odd, are dear to me
Each one a thread in love’s own art
She brings a quiet to my heart
