The sun rises above the trees
Each morning since my early days
Except when clouds obscured its rays
Till cleared away by steady breeze
The seasons march in steady flow
As winter yields to gentle spring
Then summer’s warmth and autumn’s fling
A cycle set to come and go
The rivers run, the tides return
The moon will wax, then wane once more
The winds will rise, then hush the shore
As nature’s rhythms ever turn
Though time may change the world we see
Nature remains in harmony
