My Dear Princess

what's making you sway?

Oh, my dear Princess, what troubles you so?
Your once bright eyes, now filled with woe
Your laughter, now silenced, your smile, gone away
Tell me, my love, what’s making you sway?

Is it the weight of the crown on your head
That’s causing your shoulders to droop with dread?
Or the constant demands of your royal role
That’s taking a toll on your weary soul?

Or is it the whispers, the rumors, the lies
That’s tarnishing your name, making you despise
The very title that you were born to bear
My Princess, tell me, do you even care?

My heart aches to see you in such distress
For you, my love, deserve nothing but happiness
But alas, this world can be cruel and unkind
And even the strongest of hearts, it can bind

But fear not, my Princess, for I’ll be by your side
With love and support, I’ll be your guide
Together, we’ll face whatever comes our way
And chase away the darkness, with the light of day

For you, my dear, are a Princess, strong and true
No matter what they say, I’ll always believe in you
So let your worries and fears be put to rest
And let your heart be at peace, my Princess, my best

Que le pasa a mi Princesa, you may ask
But fear not, for this too shall pass
Just hold your head high and wear your crown with pride
For my love, you will always be my Princess, my bride.
