Screaming Love
In the darkness of the night I scream,
Screaming in terror but no one answers,
They cant ear the fear coming from inside,
Lost in the shadows without a search party,
Looking for light that is not there,
All the hope drained out of me,
My prayers replaced with sorrow,
My love for life slashed with every inch of death,
Laying in a bed of shadows,
No more hope; just filled with fear,
Hanging to my last nerve for living,
Wishing it all would distinguish,
For a second I hear your voice,
Coming from within the darkness,
The volume of it only a whisper,
My heart starts to beat again,
Seeing a glimpse of light ahead,
I hear your voice more so,
Staring at a crumpled picture,
Growing clear every second,
I see your most beautiful smile,
Your eyes so filled with relief,
For you led me out of the screaming shadows,
The words for you I now express,
“My love for you will never end!”
