Does anyone hear it
When another heart shatters
In a world too hard
Too hot
For a glass heart to take
The heat
Of a million kinds of people
The mind holds the memories of those who passed
And as long as we last
We are living right?
Striving right?
Just to lay so broken each and everynight
In a bed where you cry until you get sick
And wish for once
This wasn’t it
I’m so broken by the world
That was never made for a person like me
But instead was built on the backs of greed
And I the soft centred heart on my sleeve will wither like the flower some compared me to.
For that’s all I am to a government who can’t use my bones to grind the gears of the cog
Jsut another out of place broken piece
That they try throw away
And each and every single day I rise like the sun and beg not today
Fighting silently behind hallow eyes and a clockwork smile
