Day Eight: Depressing Poetry
For my Readers
I write sorrow
It’s no matter how much I strain.
I write sorrow.
My scripts cast over by shadows.
Lyrics I compose show pain
Nothing else will come of them, shame
I write sorrow.

This is day eight in my month long Rondelet marathon! I wrote this in order to address the fact that I have hardly, if any, light-hearted poetry in my collection. While that makes the quality of my life look grim, it at least makes good poetry! ;)
