Goodbye
Today was the day I would say farewell,
I decided I could no longer live in this Hell.
A world full of anger, pain, sadness and lies,
A fake smile being my only disguise.
I want to smile again and have it be real,
I want to enlighten my soul and begin to feel.
Starting over seemed full of challenge, would I succeed?
Maybe this is exactly what I would need.
Would I fail like I had before,
Or was there opportunity behind this door?
Will I ever trust anyone again,
I believed no man could outweigh his sin.
Will passion come back to my fingertips,
Or did it fade away with the last kiss I placed on his lips.
