Solitude’s spirit by Ana M M

1.
In shadows’ grasp, where solitude’s dire dread,
I tremble 'neath the weight of loveless thread.
With loneliness, a specter at my side,
I fear a lonely death, in shadows hide.

2.
In the still of night, silence wraps me tight,
Loneliness, a ghostly howl takes flight.
Love’s warmth eludes, like whispers from above,
I quiver in the cold, devoid of love.

3.
The fear of solitude’s death, an icy touch,
A life unloved, a heart that’s suffered much.
Yet midst the darkness, a spark’s ignited bright,
A strength to face the fear, to banish night.

4.
I’ll paint my world with hues uniquely spun,
Seek solace in the silence, like the setting sun.
Though fear of loneliness hovers like a shroud,
I’ll brave it with a spirit strong and proud.

5.
In solitude’s embrace, I learn to soar,
Unlock the hidden realms, an endless lore.
No hand to hold, no whispered words of care,
Yet I’ll find solace in the open air.

6.
The fear of solitude’s death begins to fade,
As choices made reveal the path well-paved.
No longer bound by worry’s heavy chain,
I’ll learn to love myself, release the pain.

7.
With time, I’ll see that solitude’s a guide,
A journey to self-discovery, far and wide.
The fear of loneliness, its grip may slack,
As self-compassion lights the inner track.

8.
The fear of solitude’s death subsides like night,
In self-embrace, I’ll find my own delight.
No longer bound, I’ll live and breathe with grace,
In my own warm embrace, I’ll find my place.
