Thoughts That Bind
I sit here all the time
And I’m trying to clear my mind
But the only things I find
Are things that I can’t describe
So I try and I try and I try
But I think I’m losing my mind
While I’m trying to unbind
These chains but I can’t find
The key to this cell of mine
But if it takes till the end of time
I promise that I’ll find
An escape from these confines
Till again I see that light shine
