I hear a faint whisper
A teardrop stain my cheek
Calling out my name
Where no one can hear
Shimmering gossamer wings
Golden eyes pure as the sun
Hair so soft as silk
Brushing my face
Gently in thin wind
Fluttering like a butterfly
Camouflaged behind it’s wings
It’s beauty lies
No one can see
Because they chose not to believe
Such human lives
So brittle... So selfless...
Innocence stirs a fragile heart
like a newborn in a mother’s womb
So free... So loved... Nurtured...
Not chosen to believe the lies
Of this blind world
Screaming in pain
Such a beauty
Where life means solace
In a world of Sin
Does this life mean anything
To one who dwells in darkness?
Grown to live humanity
In a world who sees the lies
of this treacherous world
Only one who knows
what innocence is remained
With true color in its’ eyes
who sees none
But what of the human soul
Wrapped and coiled within thick skin
Like clay
Yet weak like glass?
Such mundane fragile beings
With one breath
Pushes pain onto oneself
And shattered in seconds
Is this truly the work of man?
Polluting minds day by night
Can no one see the devil
Beneath this solid ground?
Laughing in it’s core
Where this world may crumble
and become extinct
Pitiful creatures we truly are
Allowing ourselves to suffer
Not seeing the light of innocence
We once were
We now lose our touch
Of laughter and freedom
Disappeared into a world
Of what we call Earth
Shame...
Pitiful creature...
Where are you child
In the solace of your womb?
In which you lie
cocooned safe and sound;
Without guilt and without shame?
I fear for your soul...
Pray with me
Do not forget
This guardian within
The solace of your womb
Held inside
Your soul
