Stars dont bring light
I look up in the sky
Thinking if what lies above is something i can buy
Since i can’t buy love or happiness i could buy stars
And keep them in jars
To light up the darkness inside me
But the dark story of us cannot be free
Then i see a sky full of stars
Knowing that i can’t change what they are
I think of you and me and how happy we could be
But you and i can’t escape the past so you can i will never last
