Three Days of Wonder
With Mount Calvary looming ahead
And the crucifixes on the hill outspread,
The hanging of our Jesus will take place
In two days from Friday to make haste.
For rebellion against the ways of the world,
For the sake of love to so unfurl
And spread over towns and nations abroad,
For the words of wisdom from his Father God
He hangs on the cross and then rises again
In three days to prove that life has no end;
Those three days of wonder and reflection.
