The Hill Too Easy
Prestige became lonely up at the summit
When values began their steepen plummit
Through poverty came a deep respect
For life, I came to stop and reflect
It purified my heart, my inner strength
The road to wisdom to go what length
When life came easy, convictions grew soft
A broken stallion and me with no crop
Oh life, can I ever go back in time?
Where the hill was on a gradual climb?
I went to the summit, but all was lost
When prestige took over then at all cost
I moved too fast, too fast to think
