The Colleague

I am of worth and so my colleague.
I am the planter of so what I need.
He is the supreme of all of life
Over me in his kingdom up so high.
I sow the seeds with him in mind.
He brings the rain and sun to shine.
I am the blossoming of life’s primal seed
And laborer in his garden of what I read.

He is my God, my divine employer.
How cannot his garden flourish?

I wrote this for The Belt and Beyond, Spring Planting issue.
