Irony almost impossible to miss
Ted Mondale,
the son of the man
who served as
Jimmy Carter’s vice president,
eulogized the former president today.
He highlighted Carter’s observation
that it was discrimination
against women and girls
which was preventing
the world’s advancement.
His audience included
Donald Trump,
Hillary Clinton,
and Kamala Harris.
The two women fully understood
the weight of Mondale’s remarks.
Whether Trump did,
on the other hand,
is anyone’s guess.
