eating children
just relax—the milquetoast is marvelous

the frozen is melting/the sea is rising
the uprising
colour leads the way/the irish example
take back your country/take back your society
take back your world
have it stolen again/steal is back
the predator is ill/rabid—eating its own flesh
capitalism is failing
as it always would
to grab a few things/then run
or stand
and stare down the wolf
empire as terminator
the lonely kid
with shopping bags
stares down the tanks
we will remember/know/understand
we will stand
in confusion/in certainty
that to fall
this time
