september song

harvest moon...can the flower moon be far behind?

september song
           harvest moon

a halo wisdom
over a gentle soul
a september song
whispered across
a winter scape
of blue leafless horizon

seeded

with color wheels
of sunrises shooting
to dawn’s twilight
from ocean depths
from mountain ranges
to autumnal equinox

a lone golden leaf
from a lone naked tree
a september song
whispered across
a winter scape
of blue leafless horizon

seeded

a new life blossoming
a twilight in vernal equinox

Poem inspired by the passing of my daughter in law’s grandma’s love for life, and my son’s love for art as an imitation of life - the color wheels of life, as well - my wife’s touching of the harvest moon - ushering in the early longings for autumnal equinox. Life after life September song. Can spring be far behind?
