paradise lost
can spring be far behind?...percy bysshe shelley
paradise lost
from the tropics
to the cold regions
sky sentries
of the atmosphere
stand on guard
keen on the colliding
hot and cold air
the weather fronts
savage
the winds blow
Zeus had a bad cold
and sneezed
unleashed
the force
of a thousand
volcanos
the clouds opened up
with thunderbolts
storms rode
a surging whitewater
atmospheric river
sky sentries scurried
as snow climbed to new heights
havoc once again
on planet earth
buried in mudslides
floods with floating
cars and abodes
power outages
trees horizontal on streets
building parts debris
flew scattered piled up
shelters sheltered
life stood still
lost once more
paradises on earth
welcome
to a new year
trumpeted
happiest one yet
yet came in disarray
fresh from the
season of Joy
in times like these
lo behold
hope anchors our soul
sun is ever shining
flowers ever blooming
song birds ever singing
rainbows ever appearing

2yCalifornia getting a fair share! But not enough to end the drought. Still, every drop helps. 😊😊

2yYes we got water and not enough. We paid a high price for what was given us. Life disrupted, people died, nature gave way, damage all over. Hope the snow water from the mountains flow gently down the plains. Thanks Brod.
