To what mattered

superficial

To lose everything that once mattered,
My Identity,
Alone I find myself again,
Solaced by the trees,
Whispering their silly tales,
Of how life should really be.

I Lost every personal possession. My family and friends, comfort, sanity.
The trees reflected my true nature
