JUDGING WITHOUT INTROSPECTION

By Pitsoe JB

I have always assumed
Wondered and concluded
However, what I never tried was learning, understanding and listening.

How does one judge without introspection
How do you determine what you never encountered?
Paying attention to rumors and lacking a sense of humor I did.

The selfishness of the world surrounded my thoughts
The devil in me strained my believes
I could barely initiate with you.

Why do we judge without introspection?
I began to know you, trust you and adore you
How life can be so unkind
How do we allow dislike to heightens our judgment

The greatness in my heart allowed such an enormous affection for you
Yes, I learned to appreciate and honor your importance in my life
I started to believe rather than underestimate you
Your personality is nothing compared to how I had clinched
Instead, you are the best being I ever met.

Listen, my life started blooming with positive thoughts
The beat of my heart smiled endlessly
The glow on my face became noticeable
My love for you grew fonder
And
I enjoy every bit of life we share together
